Inclement Weather Policy

Due to the weather in Atlanta, it is necessary for the tournament to have a policy to

handle bad weather. 

In the case of an ice or snow storm in the Atlanta area, a determination will be made 

on the morning of the Friday before the tournament.  If the airport is closed, 

the tournament will be cancelled.  If the school system(s) closes the facilities due, 

to inclement weather the tournament will be cancelled. Notice of cancellation 

will be posted on this web site.

The Peachtree Classic will assume no financial responsibility to any team if the 

tournament is cancelled due to inclement weather.  The entry fee, minus prepaid 

expenses, will be refunded to the participating teams.
